Well…I’m here in GA. I’ve been looking forward to this day all summer. Right now I’m in the transition phase of unpacking and starting my new job so I have this week off. It’s composed of nothingness that I’m not used to at all. AIM has told me to enjoy this because when things start next week I will be busy, but I’m really not used to it at all.
This week I’m basically unpacking, trying not to get soaked from this hurricane that’s coming through or tropical storm…whatever you call it, and I’ve been visiting my friends. On Tuesday night I went into Toccoa to see a bunch of my friends. I planned on coming home that night but my best friend Melissa said that I wasn’t allowed to go because there were tornadoes popping up all over this part of GA. So, I stayed with her in her dorm. It was fun to be able to catch up and even more and talk about what were really looking forward too.
I also never thought I would have to go to another TFC chapel again but I went yesterday because I wanted to see all my friends. Many people were surprised to see me and some just thought I hadn’t graduated yet. It was kind of funny to see people’s reactions. On Tuesday I went to the Mexican place with Michael and Melissa and we enjoyed catching up. Nothing like yummy chips and salsa, chicken quesadilla’s and best friends together to make lifetime memories.
These are a couple of the pictures that we took while we were in the Mexican restaurant. Good times!!!
Lots of laughs!
I can’t wait to start work next week and ask that you would continue to pray with me that my support comes continues to come in. That everything that goes with moving goes well such as finding a bank, changing my license, changing my license plates, and etc… This is going to be a difficult transitioning year but I know that God is with me.
Thank you all! I’ll be keeping you posted!
Christy,
Glad to see you are there and on this new part of your life’s journey.
It was so good to be able to see you, if only for a few short times this summer. Know that Uncle Ed and I love you and are praying for you,
God Bless!
