This morning I woke up anticipating to go home to NY and being home around dinner, but alas the South won’t let me go and the North just won’t have me! As my friend and I were walking out the door to go to the airport her mother asked if we had checked my flight status. So, we stopped for a second to check and found out that my flight status was CANCELLED!!!!!!! I looked at it with wide eyes and had no idea what I was going to do. Immediately we looked on the website and found out that I wouldn’t be able to get out for a couple of more days but that it was guaranteed I would be home by Dec 26th which wouldn’t be very helpful at all. So, I called immediately like all the other millions of people and was put on hold listening to tacky Christmas music for about a half an hour. Finally, I got it rescheduled and it looks like I’ll be coming in late on Sunday. My flight will be leaving at 9:15 from the ATL airport so it will be a long night driving from ROC to home. Sorry to all of you that we’re anticipating seeing me tonight or tomorrow or Sunday. You’ll just have to wait and I’ll just have an even more packed schedule.
