Forgive me for not keeping you updated on what’s been going on in my life: prayer requests, my ministry of AIM, mission at the pool, life, etc…
I AM thankful for all of you who pray for me daily and ask that you continue to pray for me as:
– I am trying to recruit 70 additional quality project leaders.
– We have a Project Leader Training that is coming the first week of November, I was challenged to bring 45 Project Leaders and we have about 18 people attending. I must admit that this number was very disappointing since I didn’t get the numbers they were hoping. Pray that I remember that numbers don’t matter and that God is going to be providing and bringing us the leaders He wants.
– Pray for those leaders that are coming to the Project Leader Training. We have three people from Rome Alliance Church that are coming for the training and I’m really excited about that.
– We have another training in January and hopefully two more in the Spring. Pray that the Lord continues to provide quality leaders that are available to help us this summer during the busy mission season.
– Pray for my father, who will be assisting a mission project in New Orleans with 72 youth in November. I am so excited he is able to experience working with AIM and being able to step out of his comfort zone of being in charge or being a participant on a mission trip. After that project, he will stay with me a few days and leave on Thanksgiving day.
– Pray for me as I have a couple opportunities laid out before me for Christmas: I will either be in Matamoros, MX assisting with a mission project or a recruiting trip in St. Louis on a recruiting trip called Urbana. Urbana is a large missions conference, 20,000 participants that is every 3 years and sponsored by the intervarsity Christian group. www.urbana09.com
– I haven’t had as many hours at the pool due to a budget crunch but it has been a blessing because of the extra hours I’ve been needing to put into AIM.
