The Lord gave me the opportunity to participate in a “WSI: Water Safety
Instructor” class where I was the trainer, I just started the training
for being able to be an Instructor Trainer for this particular class
with the American Red Cross. It worked well in my schedule considering
the crazy schedule I’ve had with recruiting for AIM and the IT Coach
was willing to Coach me for free! Praise the Lord! As I’ve been
with AIM my work load has increased so I’m not able to teach as many
swim lessons, however we don’t have enough instructors, now as a WSIT I
will be able to train Swim Instructors so that I will not have to do
it… well not as much!
I wanted to let you know that I need your prayers. Next Tuesday,
March 16th I head to Biola University in California for another
missions conference. There I will have a couple speaking engagements,
have a booth, stay in the dorms with the girls, and eat with students.
Pray that I take every opportunity to not just talk about who AIM is
but to minister to the students needs! Furthermore, I’m excited to
say from that conference I’m going over to Modesto, CA where I was at a
church my junior year in college for an internship. There I will
revisit the church and stay with my host family: The Chacon’s who were
such a blessing when I stayed with them and continue to be a blessing!
Right after California a couple days later I have a recruiting
opportunity at UGA a GA state college and then recruit at a Christian
Community called the Wesleyan’s a large group of college students that
meet for bible study, worship, etc… At Easter I will be in New
Mexico, I will be leading my first American Indian project at Broken
Arrow Bible Ranch with about 30 participants! I’m really excited about
this opportunity: pray for the Ranch we’ll be at that we can come along
side and serve them in whatever way possible. That the students and
group leaders would have open minds, hearts, and eyes to what the Lord
is going to be teaching them. Also pray for me and the other leader
that we would have strength and patience for each day as we’re working
with multiple people.
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ~Phil. 1:2
