Well, what a crazy couple weeks it’s been.  I have officially moved from the Garden Blvd. house to my new walk-in basement apartment as of a week ago.  What a blessing my friends were while moving.  Alex and Zach helped me move the bulk of my things.  Michael’s mom Sue helped me clean out my refrigerator, pantry and kitchen while Michael helped me move all my food to the new place (I had my food plus the food that my roommates left after moving).  I would not have been able to do it without them.  I also am thankful for Melissa who called to encourage me when I was beginning to feel overwhelmed with the project.  She even thought about driving to Gainesville for a night to assist me in moving!  Thank you girl!

Right after I moved (and no I’m still not unpacked) we had Project Leader training the next day.  This training was what I had been waiting for.  All my hard work of searching for leaders for my ministry and communicating the passion and missions of AIM to these people.  I finally was able to meet those people face to face and put a face to the voice that I had been corresponding with over the phone.   What an exciting few days as I was able to participate in the training so that I can lead projects in the future as well as see the hearts of missions upon these potential leaders hearts.

Saturday came of the training.  This day was going to be a mock missions day for them. They went to “Little Mexico” to do prayer walking, some went to good news at noon, a food pantry for the homeless, as well as do some odd things around the office like paint and move stuff in storage units.  After all that they participated in the famous ATL (Ask the Lord) that we do with all participants at the end of a project.  The Lord spoke to the particpants and to me in different ways and the Lord lead some back to Good news at noon as well as to a park to feed “chick fila” sandwhiches to a homeless man and cold children.  Praise the Lord for how he worked.

Throughout the day, I actually was serving at the aquatic center!  Saturday was our kick off day for swim lessons and we were doing swim assessments so that children would be placed in the proper classes for the session.  As the director of swim lessons, my job was to supervise the Instructors assessing the children in the water as well as take care of the paperwork the parents had and place them in their classes.  It was a crazy day consisting of about 100 children.  33 children signed up for group lessons this session -Level 1 is maxed out!!!! As well as having 12 private lessons on top of the already approx. 15 private lessons we already have.  So I’m sure by reading that you can see that we’re busy!  I myself have about 6 private swim lessons this session.  I’m really enjoying it!

After PL training finished on Sunday… I ran home to pack for the next thing– Recruiting at TFC.  As a representative of AIM for this World Outreach Conference at TFC I had to be at check in on Sunday night. So, I headed to TFC and checked in and stayed at a friends house.  I had the opportunity of speaking in three classes on Monday.  On Mon to Tues.  I slept at another’s friends place.  Tues – Wed. I spoke once and then had to run to Gainesville to teach swimming lessons for the evening and decided not to come back to Toccoa that night and stayed on the Roger’s couch.  Yesterday I spoke in one class and today is my last day speaking in 6 classes.  I’m really excited for today and am sad that I’m leaving but am looking forward to a day off tomorrow.

Thank you for your prayers during that crazy time!  I definitely started feeling tired but am only functioning right now on the Lord’s strength.
