(Melissa and I planned Zach’s birthday and for dinner we went to Olive Garden)
12 days until I head back to GA.  One week to get unpacked and settled as well as get things situated with a possible part time job with the Gainesville YMCA.  I have served at two YMCA’s now and what a blessing it is to have a beautiful YMCA facility in Gainesville.  I am hoping to work a couple of hours a week in the aquatics department mainly teaching private swim lessons but we’ll see what they have to offer.
On another note, this summer was jam packed and I can’t believe it’s done.  I worked in the office at DLBCC serving as the summer secretary and I learned so many life lessons and other lessons as well.  This summer the Lord taught me that there is no way I can do this support raising on my own strength but through Him only.  I can’t get people to get on board with my ministry without the Holy Spirit and proper prayer.

While I still have a ways to go for my support, apparently I have enough to start in September.  That or, they’re really desperate for me to start so they can start training me.  I am so excited either way.  There will be training starting up on my first day of work with all of the AIM staff, so I will be meeting lots of people.  I hope I can remember all their names!  This summer we had over 100 summer staff employees and I would have never imagined remembering their names and faces, but I made it a priority to learn their names and what a difference it makes in building relationships.

Furthermore, this summer, I had the opportunity of leading devotions for staff and what a blessing that was.  Starting my day with listening prayer and trying to listen to what God is telling me to tell these people.  Regularly I heard from the Lord and He used what I spoke about to give me opportunities to answer people’s questions about His Word, about my experiences, and it gave me the opportunity to encourage fellow believers in their daily walk.

This summer we had 8 new believers from our youth camps and 21 new believers from our haven camps (mentally and physically disabled adults).  Furthermore, we had 25 recomittments to Christ and 18 called into full-time service.  Praise the Lord!!! I am excited to see how God has and is working through AIM this summer when I get there.

I appreciate your continued prayers and encouragement.  This transition of moving to GA will be difficult, but I am looking forward to the challenge.
