at least go to the last paragraph! 🙂

Humble Christ followers,

             I
hope this update has found you well!
I’m actually doing this update on a flight to Denver, CO looking
down a
snow cap mountains and hoping to be home to GA tonight at 12:30pm.
I just finished recruiting at
Biola University and spending time with the Chacon Family from Modesto,
CA.  This family was my host family
in college when I did an internship at their church 3 years ago.   The
last few months have been very
busy with AIM as I’ve been traveling recruiting leaders for our summer
mission
trips, and then as we have a handful of leader trainings this year that
I’m
heavily involved with and as I’m training the pool staff for this
summer.

This year I was given a
handful of
ministry opportunities to manage.
Around Christmas the Lord used co-workers, friends and family to
share
with me I was doing too much.  As
AIM recognized this they jumped on the opportunity to get more Servants
of the
King so I would not get burnt-out.
We now have two additional team members of The EDGE Leadership
Development Team, that’s my team.
One is full time and she’s my right hand girl especially when I’m
out of
the office recruiting and the other is part time a student at UGA and
helps me
with project budgets.  I’m really
excited about this newly developed team and have already seen in this
short
time an improvement in our leadership development processes.   Please
be praying for all of us:
Me (Project Staffing Coordinator), Bill Pagel (Leader Development
Director),
Tiffany Greene (Leader Development Assistant) and Jonathan Moseley
(Leader
Development Assistant).

I have been recruiting
this Spring
with the intentions of doubling our leader database.  We
have seen some fruit in these efforts and have trained
many leaders for future mission projects.
Please pray that the Lord would continue to provide leaders for
our
mission projects. If you are interested in becoming a leader or support
staff
with us please don’t hesitate to contact me.

The Lord also has
given me the
opportunity to lead a mission project over Easter in New Mexico on a
Christian
Camp American Indian Reservation called Broken Arrow.  I
will be traveling April 2nd and returning to
Georgia April 10th.
One thing God has taught me over and over again is the importance
of
prayer and utilizing the body of Christ.
Leading a mission project has its ups and downs and  on this project I would love to be able to share those
experiences
and those prayer needs with you my dearest supporters. Therefore, I
would love
for ONE person each day while on project, April 4-April 9th
to give
me a call and see how I’m doing, listen to some praises, listen to some
prayer
opportunities and pray together.
If you’re interested in signing up for this please e-mail me: [email protected].
This project is right around the corner
so don’t hesitate to contact me!
If you sign up for a time I will let you know the best time to
call
since there’s a time difference and a busy ministry schedule.  I’m
hoping to hear and be encouraged by
those I don’t typically get a chance to speak with often, although I know
you
are avidly praying.  I also am hoping
I can continue this strategy when on future projects, as long as I have
cell
phone access- please consider participating in calling me for the future
so
that I can be blessed by many brothers and sisters in Christ.

Thank you for your
prayers and continued
financial support.  I wouldn’t be
able to do what I’m doing without you.
